Blog hop -- day two

Welcome back ladies! I must say that I am so pleased with the responses our little blog hop has received.  Thank you for taking the time to visit with us and leave us a comment.  We really do appreciate it.

As promised here is a simple tag I made for the little brag book featured in yesterday's post. I wish I could tell you I invented the technique but unfortunately for me,
Tim Holtz, has copyrights. LOL.   The background technique was inspired by one of the tags from TH's 2008 Twelve Tags of Christmas.
I won't go into the specific details on how to create the background since Tim already posted a tutorial on his website.  Please click here for the instructions.  I followed the tutorial and allowed the paint to dry.  Afterwards I applied a flourish rub-on to the tag.  The flourish gives the tag, at least I think it does, the illusion of movement.  The little girl in the die cut is from A Child's Year by Cricut .

Blog Candy

Please note that if you win this blog candy you may request a few additional die cuts from the Summer in Paris, Home Decor and/or Sentimental cartridges.  Just tell me size (up to 5.5") and color cardstock you want and I'll add the image to the box.

In order to win the blog candy you must do the following:
  • Become a follower of this blog.
  • Leave a comment on this blog.  If you left a comment yesterday.  Thank you.  If you want to double your chances leave a comment today as well.  If you use the anonymous option to post a comment please be sure to provide contact information.
  • Visit the blogs of the other talented ladies participating in this blog hop.
The winners will be chosen on Tuesday, February 1st.  You will have until Friday, February 4th to contact me.  Your next stop is to Sharon's Pretty Paper Things blog.

As always, thanks for stopping by . . .
