An island and a promise

Much to my surprise and delight DH assembled the new island for my sb room. It was kind of funny to hear so many expletives coming from my sb room . . . but I was wise enough to know to keep my distance until he specifically asked for my help! LOL. Afterwards I had to promise to stop buying CHEAP furniture. A promise I won't have any problems keeping. :-)

Now comes the fun part . . . deciding what to store on the island. I had thought about storing my paper on the bottom part of the island but prefer to keep the paper at eye level. I absolutely love the little spice racks on each side of the island. I may store paint and alcohol ink on one side and perhaps some cute jars on the other. Don't know. Right now I am playing around to see what works best. One thing is for sure . . . I need to change those drawer knobs!
