Times Square

Have you ever finished a LO and felt like you 'just hit one out of the ballpark'? This is just such a LO for me. I cannot begin to tell you just how pleased I am with the results. It is busy but not overwhelming. It's a little edgy but still sophisticated and I absolutely love it!

The devil is in the details. I hand sketched the skyline all around the circle. To demonstrate the extent of my madness, I then traced the skyline with silver Stickles. I painted the inside of the circle grey to give it sort of an edgy look. Keep in mind that edgy is being defined by an anal retentive individual. LOL. I added the lady on the left to represent the glamour and sophistication often associated with NYC.
